Head of UK Compliance, AML and Financial Crime

Wealth management has become a complex business. The choice of investments is endless and includes an increasingly diverse range of opportunities. Some are traditional while other recent innovations are as highly specialist as they are potentially rewarding. We provide an extensive range of wealth management services including banking, investment, trust and financial planning services to help clients make the right choice.

 

Purpose of Role:

  1. To act as the firm’s senior manager responsible for Compliance Oversight.
  2. To ensure the maintenance and consistency of compliance standards, policy and documentation in the UK.
  3. To promote the maintenance and consistency of wider standards, policy and documentation in the UK to enable the Bank and Trust Company to comply with all relevant regulatory requirements.
  4. To act as UK focal point as regards general developments in the regulatory regime, co-ordinating and managing the firm’s response and reporting and advising senior management as required.
  5. To coordinate responses and reporting to the UK’s regulators, currently the FCA and PRA.
  6. To act as UK Lending Standards Code Compliance Officer.
  7. To act as the UK Data Protection Officer.
