Head of UK Fund Administration recruitment
A Head of UK Fund Administration is sought by a premier global asset management house based in the City of London. The Head of UK Fund Administration is responsible for the overall direction and day to day operational controls and deliverables of the function. In conjunction with the Head of UK Fund Services, you will develop and be responsible for the annual budget and related strategic plans.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for:
-Be responsible for the day to day operational performance in relation to Unit Trusts, institutional funds, charity funds, offshore funds, private equity funds and hedge fund of funds
-Ensure that all activities within the teams are carried out effectively, balancing quality of service delivery, cost effectiveness and operational risk management
-Proactively address regulatory change and act as subject matter expert in all accounting related matters
-Ensure that the operating platform is maintained and developed to meet current and future business needs
-Manage relationships with external and internal clients, outsource partners and other related parties such as Trustee and audit firms
-Oversee the development of strategies and plans to support requirements
-Management and development of the teams including budgetary, cost management and control
-Deal with regulatory compliance and the management and oversight of outsource partners in the delivery of services
The following skills are required for this Head of UK Fund Administration position:
-Must be qualified chartered accountant or equivalent
-Demonstrate in depth operational and accounting knowledge across a broad range of fund types and a similar level of expertise in relation to a diversity of investment strategies and instruments
-The incumbent is likely to have had demonstrable experience of operations management in an investment/securities trading or third party administrator organisation including considerable experience of leading and managing teams
