Head of UK Marketing recruitment
City based asset manager is seeking a contractor to join as the Head of UK Marketing. The role will report to the Head EMEA Marketing, manages 2 segment specialist marketing manager VPs and work collaboratively with the UK Sales team to implement the bespoke marketing strategy.
This includes the development, delivery and implementation of the marketing strategy in the UK across all core segments. This role will be responsible for developing strategic marketing campaigns targeting the UK market, managing the deployment of campaigns and all marketing activities as well as reporting and budget management. The role has oversight of all marketing activities in the UK market, managing the team to ensure effective, high quality delivery of all marketing activities across multiple marketing disciplines including advertising, direct mail, events, collateral and web.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the marketing strategy and activity
Play a leading role in the development UK marketing strategy, managing the segment specialists and actively engaging the marketing managers from around the region.
Develop a full understanding of the UK investment and client landscape, and positioning in the UK market.
Strategic, planning and management of the marketing strategy.
Oversee the day to day implementation of multiple discipline marketing campaigns targeted at core client segments Work effectively with Head of UK Sales, Product and Marketing Communications teams to successfully implement and deliver relevant, timely campaigns that drive AUM growth for the UK market Develop a broad understanding of products and distribution strategies as well as the wider investment landscape.
Develop, plan and manage effective targeted marketing campaigns in the UK across multiple disciplines.
Quality assurance of all UK marketing activities. Maintain a strong understanding of Products, Sales Strategies and overall business goals, against which to implement the marketing program. Interact with stakeholders within the business, agency partners and compliance to manage projects from end-to-end Review marketing results and report progress against plan, and develop programs based on this feedback.
Thorough understanding of the UK and previous marketing experience within financial services, minimum 12 years' experience. Proven managerial track record within similar marketing discipline.
Proven campaign delivery across multiple disciplines on a medium to large scale. Deep understanding of marketing principles across all multiple disciplines e.g. advertising, direct marketing, events, collateral and eBusiness Demonstrate effective implementation of marketing campaigns with a keen focus on ROI. Demonstrate an ability to manage projects including the ability to drive projects forward and integrate input from multiple stakeholders while maintaining project schedules. Demonstrate a willingness to get involved in all aspects of marketing to deliver UK strategy. Marketing degree, CIM qualification or Investment Management Certificate preferred.
