Head of Unlisted Research recruitment
This high profile role sits within an emerging business unit of an existing wealth management business. This business unit also provides consulting to advisory firms looking to amend their business model to deal with the pending FOFA reforms.
Reporting to the Chief Investment Officer this role will include identifying, servicing, monitoring and measuring unlisted funds that will outperform passive benchmarks after fees and taxes for Australian and Global equities; Fixed Interest, Property and Alternatives. Preparation of managed funds and unlisted security research and communication of results to advisors and their clients and the Investment Committee; Identification of specialist investment opportunities the firm should consider.
The successful candidate will have 5 or more years experience as a managed funds analyst within a research house, asset consultant or dealer group or research analyst within a funds management business; Appropriate Bachelor’s degree with post graduate degree/FINSIA or CFA highly regarded
