Head, Performance Management (Retail Banking Products) recruitment
Job Description
You will be a senior member of the Consumer Bank finance team. You will lead a team and be responsible for the financial management reporting, as well as performance management of the Singapore Retail Banking Products (RBP).
Key Roles Responsibilities
Budget and Forecast
* Engage business and lead an effective Budget Forecast process as per group guidelines.
* Analyze business performance and initiatives and highlight risks and opportunities. Help business address risks to ensure committed financial outcome.
Financial Management and Controls
* Ensure timely accurate reporting to management.
* Develop and manage the preparation of local and group management information reports for timely and accurate assessment of financial performance.
* Review and support business on accounting policy financial controls.
Business Support and Strategic Planning
* Actively support business towards strategic planning performance management.
* Help business in managing costs by introducing efficient investment management cost control process.
* Assess, review and advise business regarding :
o pricing / repricing strategy
o product mix
o sales performance
o Cost of funds
Balance Sheet Management
* Support SG ALCO for balance sheet inputs.
* Active balance sheet management for strategic planning, opportunity and risks identification and optimizing leverage on RBP balance sheet.
Project Management
* Support finance and business teams on various strategic projects assigned from time to time.
Qualifications Skills
To succeed in this position, you will need to possess the following:
- Accounting (CA/ CPA or equivalent) qualification or MBA in Financial Management
- Several years of relevant experience in performance management and balance sheet management
- Strong analytical and communication skills along with an ability to work with senior stakeholders against tight deadlines is essential
- Strong influencing and people management skills
- Experience in Retail Banking products
