The Head of Products at UBS Wealth Management India (IPS Head) is a key position holder and a member of the senior management team. His/her primary role will be to develop a comprehensive and highly sophisticated wealth management product shelf to meet the requirements of ultra-high-net worth clients. Strategic and tactical planning, as well as management of complex projects are key requirements. At the same time the Products head ought to be confident in regularly meeting and advising the most prominent client families in India, as well as providing occasional contributions on economical matters to the media. Keeping the finger on the pulse of market developments and product innovation, as well as guiding and training our relationship managers is an ongoing and critical task. Balancing risks and opportunities based on solid risk management experiences is of highest importance. In order to meet his/her ambitious goals the Products head is supported by local as well as specialized regional product teams that are an integral part of Wealth Management. In addition, the Products head very closely cooperates with all divisions of the Investment Bank in India, as well as in the region and around the globe.

Requirements:

• 15 years experience in product management in wealth management, or in similar roles in an investment bank or a corporate bank. Capital markets and wealth management advisory products experiences are a strong advantage

• An advanced degree in Economics and/or Finance or Business Management, with a post-graduate financial certification, such as a CFA, would be an advantage

• Broad knowledge of the regulatory, legal, and tax environment in India

• An extensive network of professional relationships in the financial services industry

• Ability to recruit and lead high caliber people

• Work collaboratively in teams across divisions, countries and matrix lines

• Commitment to the bank’s global business strategy and corporate culture

• Creativity in development of new ideas and innovative approaches

• Prepared to be decisive and take calculated risks

• Very strong organizational skills

• Excellent communication skills
