RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategic Business Planning
- Support the profitable growth of RIA by formulating strategy
- Work with key business partners to ensure strategies and business plans are closely aligned to the firm's vision, goals, and strategic priorities
- Recommend and make solid business cases for enterprise wide strategic initiatives
- Lead/participate in implementation of cross-functional initiatives as needed
Client Retention/Relationship Management:
- Manage a global client service model with standards, which is aligned with that of the firm and supports the RIA client segmentation discipline
- Assist clients to achieve their investment performance and governance goals through interaction with expert advisors (RIA Consultants)
- Continue to evolve the RIA suite of products and ensure RIA’s alignment with the respective tiers, segments and corporate strategy
- Assist in the development and implementation of RIA’s risk management policies and procedures
- Monitor RIA’s risk management policies and procedures including client agreements, fee schedules and accounts receivables
- Develop profile in both the plan sponsor and manager communities on behalf of RIA
- Undertake activities which support the establishment of RIA and the firm as leaders in the market (published articles, speeches at conferences, quarterly press releases, Pooled Fund Survey, etc.)
- Maintain awareness of local market, competitive, regulatory and legislative developments to capitalize on opportunities to extend the client base
Quality of Service
- Execute a global service model that delivers ongoing client satisfaction
- Maintain performance standards to track business and service quality
- Improve content of data flow from custody platforms
- Deliver an operational structure where all client deliverables are supported in a timely and accurate manner
POSITION REQUIREMENTS/SPECIFICATIONS (competencies, technical kills, education and experience)
- University or post-graduate degree
- 10 years client servicing experience and proven business/industry expertise
- 5 years management experience
- Experience in account management and the ability to effectively manage relationships
- Proven sales/business development skills
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong team player
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development
- Strong personal initiative and self -motivation
- Professional knowledge of portfolio management products, including performance measurement, attribution methodology and fiduciary governance issues (Investment Compliance, VaR, etc.)
- Professional knowledge of financial instruments and capital markets
