Job Description
*Key PL management role that defines the 3-year strategic plan and execute against it via annual operating plans enabling the business to exceed all financial and non-financial goals
*Key leadership role requiring the recruitment and development of the next generation of management
Key Roles Responsibilities
Strategy and Financial Performance
*Responsible for articulating the SB product strategy and executing on the annual operating plan
*Responsible for product PL, for origination, pricing and management of assets and liabilities and for the allocation of RoRWA
*Responsible for investment prioritisation and the business operating model
*Develop jointly with the Sales team a local Product Sales strategy to meet regional and country revenue targets, in line with the overall Transaction Banking strategy
Leadership
*Provide leadership in the commercialization and utilization efforts
*Act as change agent to grow the business and transform our profile in the marketplace
*Be recognized by industry and peers as a business leader and an expert in continuously driving and leading product innovations. Particularly, be actively engaged in leading-edge industry developments and continuously migrate best practices within the countries in the region and SCB Group
Product Management and Development
*Manage projects within the approved timeframe and budget
*Sponsor launches of product enhancements, new products or new platforms as required. Work jointly with Sales to develop collaterals for local market, communicate product launches, organize customer events and develop a sales campaign strategy to ensure that the new products meet planned volume and revenue targets
Clients
*Understand the needs of customers and prospects, and implement bundled products to meet these objectives
Governance
*Ensure Country compliance on Group standard for Audit, Control and financial reporting
*Ensure that SB product managers maintain the product programmes and PPG database as per zero tolerance guidelines
Qualifications Skills
*University graduate with considerable solid years of relevant banking experience, preferably in business banking
*Experience in product development
*Good understanding of the banking systems and operations.
*Sound knowledge in banking products, banking practices and regulations. And good product knowledge.
*Strong IT knowledge with experience in SME or retail banking
