GENERAL SUMMARY:

 

 

Supervises and coaches teller staff, performs teller services, and carries out special services for customers as needed, maintaining a high degree of professionalism and customer service.  Builds rapport with regular customers.

 

 

Provides leadership and supervision of teller line with responsibility for operational competence and quality of customer service.  Buys money from and sells money to tellers, audits tellers, orders coin and currency, ATM balancing, audits cashiers check logs, and has responsibility for the branch vault cash. Performs security training and regulatory training for branch staff. Locates outages of tellers.

 

 

 

Understands the bank?s security policies and procedures, assists in opening and closing procedures, and maintains codes, alarm functions, cameras, cash control, etc.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

H. S. Diploma required; supplemental business courses preferred.

 

 

Minimum 1 year Head Teller or Senior Teller experience and managing teller line required.

 

 

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Jack Henry system preferred.

 

 

2 years financial industry customer service experience required.
