Head Teller
Securityplus Federal Credit Union, located in the Woodlawn section of Baltimore County, is growth oriented and one of the largest federal credit unions in Maryland with over $330 million in assets, and offices located throughout Baltimore City and County.
As a Head Teller, you will be responsible for the overall supervision of the teller line. This position is responsible for the vault responsibilities, ATM functions, and for the opening/closing and balancing functions. This person will monitor and provide feedback to tellers on accuracy, sales and service goals, and other related functions. This position will also be responsible for accurately handling transactions (deposits, transfers, withdrawals, check cashing, etc.) in an accurate, timely, and professional manner.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), three year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; or equivalent work related experience. Excellent supervisory skills with good oral and written communications are required for this position. The successful candidate should possess demonstrated ability and experience in handling cash, in working in a customer service position, and in handling simple to complex cash or financial transactions. Candidates should possess experience on electronic cash registers, or other automated cash and check processing equipment.
