HEALTH AND SAFETY ADVISOR
You can stop looking ... you have just found your next H S career! Our well established client is looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join their dynamic Edmonton team.
The role will be responsible for covering Western Canada. The travel requirements will be approximately 10 - 20 %.
Main Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Group Health and Safety manager
- Policy development and monitoring
- Implementing of a corporate safety programs
- Health and Safety program development
- Organization of the disability management program
- Maintaining professional relationships with external sources, as well as management
Desired Skills Experience:
- Relevant HSE experience is required
- Experience in HSE policy development required
- Minimum NCSO Certificate, other industry-recognized designations are considered an asset (CRSP)
- Working knowledge of federal, provincial and local regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- 3 - 5 Years experience in a Safety Advisor role.
This permanent position is salaried and offers an excellent benefit package. Valid Class 5 license is required.
