Health Care Assistant Level 2
Hays is working with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to recruit experienced Health Care Assistant at Level 2 level to work at the MOD Medical Centre in Brecon, wales
Your duties will involve to give full support to the Line Manager by carrying out duties normally undertaken by RAF Medics. These duties will include medical administration, first aid, hearing tests, visual acuity test, venepuncture, administering vaccinations and taking baseline observations.
Working hours: 37.5hrs/week
Dates required between: asap – 31.12.13
You must have the following:
Basic literacy and numeracy skills
NVQ Level 2 in health care or have the equivalent experience.
Medical Devices Competencies, Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training, Basic Life Support and Manual Handling Training.
Desirable:
Previous experience of working with MOD
Chaperone training
Basic computer skills
Audiometry
First Aid certification
