Requirements for the Shire U.S. Internship Program include: Enrollment at an accredited college/university Completion of at least freshman year of undergraduate study by internship start date (Both undergraduate and graduate students that apply will be considered) Major in a field appropriate to the internship Minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale preferred Legal authorization to work in the U.S. Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to start on one of the designated start dates (see calendar of events below). Internship Purpose: To support the day-to-day operations of the HCP Brand Marketing Team: The HCP Marketing Team is engaged in delivering Marketing programs to promote key US products to Allied Health Care Professionals using channels such as the Field Sales Force Promotional Materials Websites, email marketing and partnerships. Primary Role: This role will support the marketing managers across multiple brands and functions: Day-to-day online campaign operations Work closely with consumer brand in supporting day-to-day operations of Marketing programs execution and database marketing operation Marketing Field Sales and Communication Partners with internal HCP Marketing team members and external ad agencies to execute against reinforcement of new promotional campaign. Research and Analysis Conduct ad?hoc research projects as assigned by team members, leveraging, internal resources and third party reports Manage the Annual Golf Event Responsibilities: Work closely with Brand Marketing Managers in supporting day-to-day operations and campaign execution and reinforcement -Gather and organizes and document information to communicate campaign updates and changes to teams and agencies -Coordinate meetings and calls with agencies to ensure implementation of updates -Ensure campaign information and assets are properly processed, approved and within compliance guidelines using internal process and systems Marketing Research Projects Conduct research projects as assigned by team members -Conduct research using the internet, internal resources and 3 rd party analysis and reports - Provide status updates -Perform analysis, create presentation using PowerPoint and present results to team members Skills Needed: Excellent organizational project and time management skills Ability to functions well in a team environment and across multiple de-centralized teams but work independently Self motivated, willingness to learn and ask questions Demonstrated analytical skills either through academic course work or intern or co-op experience Work experience in online marketing campaign management, marketing and web analytics or business analysis Ability to efficiently learn quickly Strong computer proficiencies in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Windows Communication skills If you are interested in this fantastic Summer internship opportunity and meet the requirements of the program, apply online today!
