Sunraysia Community Health Services (SCHS) and the Mildura Rural City Council will play a key role in implementing the new local “Healthy Communities” initiative. This initiative is linked to supporting the recently established Victorian Prevention Community Model (VCPM) which in turn supports the National Partnership Agreement on Preventative Health between Commonwealth and State Governments. Objectives of the VCPM are to build a community-level prevention system through delivering and supporting interventions aimed at preventing health issues relating to obesity, physical activity, nutrition, tobacco and alcohol use. SCHS has the following exciting opportunities:
Healthy Settings Officer
