Health, Safety Environment (HSE) Manager

Reporting to the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Director, the HSE Manager will provide and co-ordinate professional advice, communications (formally by way of presentations/trainings and informally) and support within the region/site to drive health, safety and environmental performance in line with Energy Business and Corporate HSE management systems and standards and governmental regulations. Other responsibilities include: Develop and co-ordinate proactive HSE management systems and processes to include but not limited to: risk management; incident analysis; HSE Steering Committee; HSE Focus Teams; Audit; Tracking/Trending; and site/regional reporting; Emergency Preparedness; Sustainability; and HSE Business Continuity Plans Sponsor and ensure all near miss and incident analysis efforts are robust; effective; recorded and communicated Develop policies and strategies for continuous improvement and development of the HSE culture, encouraging, motivating and recognizing achievements and positive HSE behaviors at all levels Represent the region on all HSE matters with Regulators, Customers, Suppliers and other stakeholders Lead, coordinate HSE activities; and develop personnel within the region Rolls-Royce has a broad customer base comprising 600 airlines, 4,000 corporate and utility aircraft and helicopter operators, 160 armed forces, more than 2,000 marine customers including 70 navies, and energy customers in 120 countries.
