Health Sciences – In Patient Coder (Interventional Radiology)
Our regulatory professionals include former regulators (e.g., SEC, NASD, Federal Reserve, OCC, FCC, FDA, CMS, DoD), staff members of several state public utility commissions, state administrators, directors of audit, industry compliance professionals, clinicians, auditors and control specialists.
- Preventive Services – compliance and control assessments, regulatory risk management, policies and procedures, training, mock regulatory exams, reporting and licensing, compliance auditing and monitoring
- Enforcement Services – regulatory inquiries and enforcement actions, assisting clients address prior violations under regulatory orders, investigations, and government audits
- Operational Services – implementation of Enterprise Risk Management ("ERM") programs, identifying enterprise–wide risks, including market risk, credit risk, and operational risk, responding to new or changing regulations, business process, integration/strategic advice, capability assessments, utility rate case and litigation support services.
- BA/BBA/BS in Healthcare related field required
- MBA/MS/MA degree is a plus
- ICD–10 training complete (AHIMA or other coursework)
- 3–5 years IP Coding required
- Prior public accounting or consulting experience is preferred
- Proficiency in MS office products, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong technical and organization skills
- Analytical and detail oriented
- Team oriented
- Ability and willingness to travel 75%
- CDE portion of ICD–10 engagements
- Record review
- Gap analysis
- Contribute to a strong client relationship through interactions with client personnel
- Understand engagement as it relates to client's business
- Demonstrate knowledge in some areas of industry or functional specialty
- Contribute to engagement planning and ensuring that products/deliverables meet contract/workplan
- Deliver services that meet Deloitte Touche's task leader specifications
- Assume responsibility for small components of engagements. May have greater role on small engagements
- Writing of various reports related to engagements
- Contribute to a positive team attitude
