Some of the responsibilities the candidate will handle
- Assist the head of health underwriting to oversee and manage the entire team.
- Involved in discussions with the underwriting and claims committee to decide on complex underwriting discussions and claims cases
- Ensure that underwriting turnaround times are met and that these decisions are within established underwriting guidelines.
- Review underwriting guidelines to ensure these guidelines are consistent with the market place.
