Job Description:
Siemens Healthcare is seeking a Transition Manager (TM) to lead the implementation of Siemens Managed Services (MS) service lines and act as an interim Information Technology Site Executive for new Managed Services (MS) customer sites.
Potential candidates for this position can live anywhere in the US but will be required to travel to assigned sites on a weekly basis.
The Siemens TM job responsibilities can be grouped into the following three categories:
As Program Manager during transition of a new customer site, candidates will:
• Utilize key subject matter experts to implement MS service lines and standard practices in alignment with the customer contract per schedule, within budget and with the highest quality
• Oversee the transition of newly acquired IT staff into Siemens
• Maintain the Transition Management Methodology and associated tools and templates
• Identify operational trends/issues, assess root cause, recommend/implement changes to operational model to address such trends/issue
As the highest titled onsite Siemens management resource for assigned sites, candidates will:
• Matrix manage the Siemens IT staff assigned to the customer account in accordance with the SLA (onsite, remote stateside, and global)
• Assist with interview, selection, orientation/mentoring for Siemens employees in various roles
• Coordinate resolution of personnel issues for assigned staff with applicable management
• Provide performance management feedback for assigned resources
In the role of Interim Site Executive for assigned sites, candidates will:
• Oversee day to day operations of the customer IT department by ensuring effective delivery of Siemens and third-party IT services in accordance with the responsibilities outlined within the MS SLA and applicable contracts.
• Ensure IT functions are performed to achieve or exceed the expected operating standards and the designated level of customer satisfaction.
• Ensure IT compliance with all policies and procedures established by the customer or established jointly between the customer and Siemens.
• Participate in the development and implementation of an Information Technology Strategic and Tactical Plans that directly support Customer business objectives.
• Manage to the Siemens internal budget and ensure high quality service delivery in alignment with contractual obligations outlined in the SLA for assigned sites.
Requirements:
• Function in a fast paced and highly matrix managed environment
• Build and nurture executive customer relationships that foster customer/vendor partnership
• Motivate teams to achieve and exceed customer expectations
• Assimilate pertinent information and facilitate teams to realize solutions that equate to win-win solutions for the customer and Siemens
• Oversee tactical implementation of solutions that help our customer realize their strategic goals
• Possess experience in healthcare and/or ambulatory setting, preferably in IT Director, CIO or Program Management role
• Be well versed in current industry trends, challenges and regulatory requirements
• Possess prior management experience desired
