Heat Pump / Mechanical Design Engineer required working for a leading renewable energy company that design, supply and install a range of renewable energy solutions to the domestic and commercial market, including solar PV, Heat Pumps. .
The role would suit a mechanical design engineer with heat pump experience. Ideally part of the Institute of Mechanical Engineer (IMechE) or Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineer (CIBSE)

The Role Responsibilities
As the mechanical design engineer your role will include system design for heat pumps projects.
You will also attend site and client visits acting as the technical expert.
The design engineer oversee some of the installation maintaining quality and making sure the design is adhered to as well as finding solutions to any problems that arise.
Some responsibility for sourcing products and delegating tasks to junior engineers.
Requirements:
Previous experience within the heating / boiler/ renewable energy industry as a mechanical design engineer.
Background or experience with commissioning or other on site experience.
Knowledge of heating controls - BMS / PLC's
Design software - AutoCAD
Full UK Driving Licence
Knowledge of IMechE or CIBSE processes
