Heavy Civil
Ric-Man Construction, Inc. is a growing Heavy Civil Subsurface Specialty Contractor who seeks a Heavy Civil - Project Engineer/Superintendent with extensive experience in tunneling, vertical shaft, and similar type subsurface construction. Projects are concentrated within the Mid-West and Southern Florida. Our specialty is working within difficult soil and rock conditions. The ideal candidate will have:
· Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
· Professional Engineers License is a definite plus
· Minimum of 10-years of practical experience as a Project Engineer with supervisory skills with Heavy Civil Subsurface Construction Installations
· Practical experience with: Geotechnical/Soils Engineering, Structural analysis of earth retention systems, Structural concrete construction
· Proven record with supervising self-performed Subsurface Construction Operations
· Budgeting Cost Control experience
· QA/QC management
· Willing to travel
· Familiarity with (on water) marine operations, rock and soft ground tunneling, microtunneling, tunnel lagging systems and knowledge of HDD installations
· Knowledge of HCSS, Primavera and Microsoft Systems is a plus
