Hedge Fund
This is a newly created role which will have responsibility for all client-facing elements (marketing strategy, asset raising, product development and investor relations) as they seek to market their brand to a global institutional client base. This is a key hire and the role will involve working closely with the CEO and other members of the Management team.
My client is looking for an individual with significant industry experience: 15yrs+. The successful candidate will have a proven track record closing transactions or asset-raising, covering large institutional clients from a blue chip name within an Investment Bank or Hedge Fund. You must have had experience building and managing a sales / marketing team with an EMEA, US, Asian or Global remit.
The role will be very entrepreneurial and close to the product so a reasonable understanding of quant strategies is a necessity. Candidates should have a strong academic history with MBA / CFA desirable. Additional languages would also be beneficial.
This is an established fund (10 yrs +) with a good track record. The fund trades across all major asset classes and trades a variety of quantitative strategies. Having built a strong product they are now looking to expand their current assets and this is a great opportunity to further build-out this business brand and expand their sales team.
