Hedge Fund Accountant – Asset Manager recruitment

The business manages a number of investment strategies focused on base and precious metals.

THE OPPORTUNITY

As a result of an overseas move, the finance department has a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant to join the team.
The role will be very broad based and will have responsibility for the daily PL production, as well as the month end fund reporting processes.
You will also liaise extensively with the prime brokers and internal traders regarding trades, fx deals and daily statements.

YOUR PROFILE

You will ideally be a qualified accountant, looking to get into a very dynamic "hedge fund" environment, where you will be given considerable responsibility from day one.
Experience of working in either the hedge fund or commodities space would be a distinct advantage, but more important in the right attitude.
The ideal profile would be an outgoing and confident individual, but at the same time, someone who is happy to roll their sleeves and add value from a very early stage.
This is an outstanding opportunity for someone looking to work in a small London office, where you will have interaction with all parts of the business.
