Hedge Fund Analyst (f/m) recruitment
Prime Capital is an independent financial services and asset management firm. We offer highly professional services for institutional clients, particularly in value-adding, complex asset classes. The company, which was founded in February 2006, currently employs over 30 people in Frankfurt and London. We are regulated by BaFin in Germany and FSA in the UK. Our clients can access investment management and risk monitoring platforms in both Luxembourg and offshore jurisdictions. The focus is on individual fund solutions, private managed accounts and cost-efficient securitisation transactions. To date assets of almost Euro 5 billion have been structured, securitised, booked on various platforms as well as managed or advised by Prime Capital.

Hedge Fund Analyst (f/m)
Key Responsibilities
Fund Analysis and Monitoring
- Carry out full due diligence of hedge funds and funds of hedge funds under the supervision of a senior analyst and in line with the defined procedures, including quantitative analysis, collection and interpretation of qualitative information, verification and onsite visits
- Documentation of the analysis process and results in the database, and in the form of ratings, summary fund reports and quantification of risk parameters
- Regular monitoring of approved and invested funds as well as portfolios of funds regarding relative performance, risk exposures and organisational changes, resulting in updated documentation and proactive investment recommendations
- Sourcing of new investment ideas by regular screening of the database, actively building and maintaining industry contacts, review of relevant publications and attending industry events
- Maintain and expand the hedge fund database, and keep the covered fund universe in the Prime Capital DataScope updated and appropriately categorised
Strategy Research
- Conduct regular hedge fund strategy research in co-operation with a senior analyst, and collect and interpret supporting economic research, resulting in clearly stated and quantified strategy related investment recommendations and expectations
General
- Participate in the preparation of monthly reports and newsletters
- Assist in the improvement of the analysis tools with a particular emphasis on quantitative fund analysis and reporting
- Close co-operation with the supervising senior analyst and proactive interaction with the investment team in general
Qualifications / Work Experience/ Skills
- High level of academia:University degree in finance, economics or business administration
- Relevant professional experience in investment management industry
- Strong quantitative skills
- Fluent in English and German
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
