Hedge Fund Analyst – Manager Research
They are a leading private banking and asset management business who manage over £40 bn for private banking clients. The investment management part of their business has recently gone from strength to strength and they have now centralised all asset management activities in London. They offer a broad range of investment products including both multi manager and fund of hedge fund products.
They currently have what I believe to be an outstanding opportunity for a hedge fund analyst to join them to conduct manager research on a range of hedge fund strategies. Your research will feed into the investment process for the fund of fund products and will also be used to advise the businesses private banking clients.
This role requires:
• A minimum of 5 years experience of long only fund selection
• Knowledge of Event Driven Equity and Credit strategies, Distressed Debt, Convertible Arbitrage and to a lesser extent CTA and Macro
• Ideally IMC or CFA qualified
• You should have a good knowledge of a range of hedge fund managers and be able to identify suitable managers for investments
