Hedge Fund Boston: Senior SQL Server Database Adminstrator recruitment
This asset management firm is looking for the newest addition to its Database Administration team to help support and architect a global SQL environment. You will be needed to assist developers in creating new databases while providing support to all vendor and packaged applications, which use a SQL Server.
As a Senior DBA you will be responsible for working as part of the development and businesses division while providing superior database support and solutions for ongoing initiatives. You will be an active member of the DBA team and have the opportunity to become a vital contributor to the future vision of the department. This expanding company currently has over $95 billion dollars in assets with offices around the globe.
In order to apply for this role, you must have at least 6-8 years of IT Experience with 5-6 of those years coming as a Database Administrator. An interest in the financial industry is preferred.
Other technical skills include:
Expert SQL Server Skills (2005/2008)
Experience in the management of OLAP databases
Experience with 100+ GB Databases
Manage HA and DR solutions including MS Cluster Server, Database Mirroring, Log Shipping, and SQL Replication.
T-SQL skills
