Hedge Fund CFO Role – Senior Audit Manager / Director Required – £150k base + bonus recruitment
An expanding multi-strategy hedge fund that has seen considerable growth in both AUM and staff over the last few years is looking to hire a CFO to help with overall financial planning and to offer a proactive commercial perspective. The individual should be willing to take the lead with all monetary matters for the business. This will include elements of financial accounting, some (but not much) management accounting, tax/VAT etc.
As the business has a number of strategies and a number of different and reasonably diverse elements my client sees real value in looking to hire a candidate that is either currently in or has recently been in a financial services audit role. This should result in a broad exposure to a number of different financial services firms and should be able to fit in well with all the diverse elements of their business. The role will involve a lot of direct contact with the CEO and advising him on all financial matters and acting as a sounding board and/or control on investment and spending where necessary.
The successful candidate will then need to take responsibility to build out a growing finance function with individual specialisms in each discipline.
They are ideally looking at Director level financial services audit candidate that has had reasonably hands on experience and is looking for a commercial opportunity to become an intrinsic part of a successful growing hedge fund. In return they offer a significant base salary and excellent bonus potential.
