Hedge Fund COO / CFO (FD level to step up) – 100
We are looking for a current finance director to step up in to the role. This is as the role is effectively to act as both a COO and to perform the hands on role of a finance director. On the COO side you are expected to act as the interface to current and potential investors on all matters relating to finance, operations and infrastructure. This is of course in addition to taking care of the running of the fund. On the CFO side you are to perform a hands on finance role, taking care of the financial reporting, compliance and tax responsibilities. This is in addition to running the current finance and operations team.
The feeling from the client is that this would be a big step up for a current FD and a hugely challenging role. However the attraction is that the individual at this level would be hungry and ambitious enough to take to that challenge and grow with the firm developing themselves in to a strong CFO/COO. Naturally the nature of your role would change as the fund continues to expand (50% headcount growth in the past 18 months).
The client is offering a 100-120k base salary. The expectation is that your bonus package would be generous given continued strong performance by the fund and an exceptional performance from the hire.
