Hedge Fund Credit Analyst
Senior member of the specialist credit risk team, responsible for providing and maintaining high quality credit risk assessment and ongoing monitoring of Hedge Fund clients and exposures in the EMEA region.
- Pro-active management of a distinct portfolio of Hedge Fund counterparts to minimise credit losses.
- Front-to-end credit risk management including counterparty financial analysis, determination of internal risk rating and regular monitoring of counterparty performance to identify any emerging credit risk
- Set risk appetite on a single counterparty basis and contribute to the setting of risk appetite for the Hedge Fund sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the Front Office.
- Actively participate and help implementing the change agenda in Credit Risk
The successful candidate should have:
- An established career history specifically within hedge fund credit risk
- Experience with carrying out hedge fund due diligence and attending client visits
- Strong documentations skills ie ISDA/CSA
- Strong product knowledge, including derivatives
- Delegated authority would be a plus
- Strong credit report writing skills
