Hedge Fund Credit Trade Assistant-New York City Jobs New York City
An elite credit focused hedge fund is seeking a trade assistant to join its CDS trading desk here in New York City. The successful candidate will report directly into a Portfolio Manager and will have significant exposure to every business function in the firm (trading, risk management, research, operations, IT).
Main Responsibilities Include:
-Trade capture duties (booking, allocating, potentially executing)
-Flash PL and risk reporting to traders
-Liaising with counterparties on trade details
-Market Research for Portfolo Managers (specifically credit and bond markets)
-Ad hoc projects as needed
Minimum Requirements:
-Bachelors degree from top University, CFA preferred
-Strong CDS exposure and knowledge a must
-3-5 years of experience in middle office or TA role at sell side or credit hedge fund
-Proficient excel and bloomberg skills
