Hedge Fund Managed Accounts Platform Operations
Our client is a privately held, diversified financial services firm characterized by a deep commitment to creating exceptional value for clients globally. The role is within their hedge fund managed accounts platform that caters to institutional investors seeking transparency and independent operational oversight of a wide array of hedge fund strategies. The platform is growing its investor base and now looking to build out the operations team.
Role: Operations Analyst
The Operations Team primarily acts as an oversight function of the administrator and addresses ad hoc operational projects to improve and build out the business.
Daily activities would include:
- Responsible for a set number of hedge fund accounts.
- Checking daily PNL on securities such as futures, equities, forwards and swaps.
- Review monthly NAV from the administrator which includes checking bond interest accruals, dividend accruals, cash and market value breaks
- Prepare wires for all entities
- Work with the administrator, investment managers and prime brokers to resolve breaks.
- Assist with the year end audit which includes confirmations and valuation reviews.
