Hedge Fund Marketing Associate recruitment
This is a new role, the successful candidate will have deep contacts and relationships with investors in the institutional, high net worth and family office world, with a proven track record raising significant amounts of capital annually for another fund.
Prior experience in an Investor Relations role at a buy side or institutional firm with a strong network of investors with a desire, passion and ability to move into a fund raising capacity is also desirable.
This in a unique opportunity to have visible impact in an exciting, innovative and growing hedge fund. The Marketer / Capital Raising Associate will be articulate, polished, ethical and likable. Ability to self manage and take the initiative.
Requirements:
* Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics or related discipline
* Masters a plus
* 3 - 5+ years Marketing and Capital Raising experience in a hedge fund, investment management, family office or institutional financial services environment
* Strong track record raising capital for another fund; or strong Investor Relations background with ability and desire to move into a capital raising capacity
* Strong understanding of the investment management world
* Natural passion and drive for success, enthusiasm to be part of and learn about long short hedge fund strategy
* Ability to leverage an existing client base of investors in order to attract investment capital and raise AUM significantly
* Excellent communication, polished and articulate
