Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting audits to identify deficiencies/ risks inherent in the business operation and assess the effectiveness of the relevant internal controls
- Provide and follow through the implementation of feasible recommendations for business operational improvements with auditors
- Assist in compiling internal audit reports for management review
- Assist the department head in the periodic reporting to Audit and Risk Management Committee
- Perform licensing and related matters with regulatory authorities
- Assist in handling enquiries and investigation from regulatory authorities
- Assist in researching relevant laws, guidelines, rules, regulations and ensuring that the company policies and procedures comply with the regulatory requirements
Requirements:
- University graduate in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related discipline;
- Membership of professional bodies ( HKICPA, ACCA, CFA, CIA etc) is highly preferred
- Minimum 2-3 years of in house internal audit / compliance experience gained from financial institutions, preferably from Asset Management Houses, Hedge Funds Private Equities
- Good knowledge of SFO, securities laws and operations of fund management business is an advantage
- Analytical and positive mind with excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently under pressure; thorough and precise
- Fluent spoken and written English and Chinese
2. Portfolio Manager(Chinese-Speaking)
Responsibilities:
- Establish strategies and make investment decisions to meet annual target
- Articulate investment ideas and opportunities to clients and investment teams
- Extensive research in APAC market outlook and adapt investment strategies
- Participate in meetings to discuss and review portfolio positioning, allocation, risk metrics and contribution
Requirements:
- Degree holder or above from top tier universities with major in Finance, Economics or related disciplines
- CFA qualification is a must
- Candidates with experience in established hedge funds or prop trading desk as a senior investment professional. Strategies including and not limited to candidates who possess Pan Asia Fundamental Long/Short, Pan Asia Event Driven, Global Marco, Managed Future, Convertible arbitrage or fixed Income arbitrage background.
- Strong history of achievement in investment portfolio is essential; proven track record is preferred
- Demonstrate strong analytical ability and domain knowledge of portfolio investment
- Presentable and highly motivated with excellence in communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English, both spoken and written, is essential.
