A rapidly expanding hedge fund is seeking a Hedge Fund Sales person to assume responsibility for global fund raising across multiple asset classes, including Credit, FX and Equities, with a particular focus on mortgage backed securities (MBS).
My client has approximately AUM of approximately $200mm across Credit, systematic Equity and Foreign Exchange funds. Due to the launch of two new funds under management we are seeking an experienced Hedge Fund Sales person to drive asset raising throughout Europe, the Middle East and the US. The successful candidate will also be responsible for marketing and investor relations and own the entire asset raising function within the fund.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of successful sales to Institutions, College Funds, Family Office's, High Net Worth Individuals etc. Candidates should be confident in merging the existing client list with their own contacts and developing a coherent marketing policy across the business. You will be expected to raise tickets from $2million to $50million and work very closely with the exisitng Portfolio Managers to perform presentations and support daily business functions.
To be considered for the role of Hedge Fund Sales, Credit, Private Equity, Fund Raising, experience in the following is essential:
* Working closely with Senior Managers and Portfolio Managers to construct a coherent marketing/sales strategy.
* Building a new client base as well as managing relationships with existing clients.
* Creating and maintaining marketing and investor relations documents.
* Attending client meetings both with and without the Portfolio Manager.
* Responsibility for maintaining the client database and investor pipeline.
* Market research on investor trends and appetite.
* Experience in Structured Credit, FX and/or buy side FOHF is a plus.
This is an immediate need a fantastic opportunity to manage and lead a division within a rapidly expanding hedge fund.
