Hedge Fund Sales recruitment
My client is looking for a sales individual who can demonstrate a very successful sales track record of selling complex equity stocks . Ideally, the successful candidate will have excellent experience of investment sales/marketing experience and possess excellent knowledge of hedge funds in the UK, US and Europe.
The Equities Structuring and Marketing team covers UK institutions and global hedge funds.
Key responsibilities include:
- Engage with senior investment decision makers at Hedge funds, consultants and family offices.
- Developing and analyzing equity and hybrid derivative trade ideas and themes for clients.
- Presenting ideas to internal and external clients.
- Developing client relationships through meetings, phone calls, follow-up work, and on-going dialogues.
- Working with trading to structure and price equity and hybrid derivatives
- Maintain deep relationships with established and start up hedge funds managers,
- To achieve revenue targets as set by the Head of UK Sales and Head of Hedge Funds Segment
- Input into product development initiatives in terms of the identification of market demand
- Develop relationships across the group with other business units marketing their service to hedge funds.
Experience required:
*Bachelors or Masters degree,
*Minimum of 3 years equities sales/sales-trading role, or other client-facing market-focused role
*Strong interest in and understanding of markets to enable this person to provide sound advice to clients
*The successful candidate will be an ambitious and dynamic individual with a natural sales ability, will possess excellent communication/interpersonal skills and have a proactive working style
