Hedge Fund Specialist

My client is a boutique Asset Management company based in the City with over 15 billion under management; they invest into a wide range of instruments and have more than 500 employees globally, my client is focused on recruiting the right people in order to drive the business forward.
My client is looking to recruit a Hedge Fund Specialist to join a busy/ growing team. As a Hedge Fund Specialist, you will be responsible for servicing institutional, retail and Hedge Funds covering multiple Asset Classes; including Fixed Income, Equities, Hedge Fund, Absolute Return Funds and Multi-Asset Funds.
Further duties of the Hedge Fund Specialist will include:
-Maintaining and updating data on the database as required
-Preparing/ delivering reports on a monthly basis from the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system as well as various other CRM projects
-Build and maintain excellent working relationships with data vendors to ensure data being displayed is accurate and adherent to regulations
-Using in-house data tools to provide data for reporting, presentations and other areas
-Assisting the Hedge Fund team with daily duties/ research
-Responding to client requests/ queries and distributing fund materials accordingly
-Helping out with various project that arise within the team on an on-going basis
The successful Hedge Fund Specialist will have the following skills and competencies
-You will be educated to degree level and you MUST have similar/ relevant experience gained within an Investment Manager, Hedge Fund, Private Equity Firm or Global Custodian (an internship within one of these fields would be ideal)
-You MUST have very strong system skills including strong PowerPoint/ Excel
-You MUST have excellent communication skills and be able to engage at a very senior level
-Ability to work well under pressure and have an excellent attention to detail is imperative for this role
