Carl Zeiss Microscopy, LLC an international leader with a 150-year history of innovation excellence has opportunities available for a Helium Ion Technical Support Engineer. Position is responsible for providing global technical assistance/guidance and support to CZM Service and Sales employees as well as CZMic’s customers on assigned products. Acts as liaison between manufacturing, RD, product management, sales and service on all technical related service matters. Responsible for the technical readiness of the service customer care organization to support assigned product basket.
Qualified candidates will:
· Bring knowledge of electronics, optics mechanics and pc technologies
· Have direct experience building, maintaining, installing, and/or repairing particle beam based imaging Systems or similarly complex automated electromechanical systems including a strong knowledge of high vacuum systems, high voltage, advanced electronics and electro optics, PC technologies and Software.
· Possess excellent customer service and communication skills and ability to work in a team
· Have solid administrative and organizational skills
Proven results in service and support of similar capital equipment a must. Position requires up to 40% travel both internationally and domestic.
