In Victoria water is receiving a major injection of investment.With 5 offices in Victoria, this multidisciplinary construction contractor‘s has an excellent reputation for providing innovative engineering solutions to the civil market and their regional Victorian office has an immediate need for a senior manager to oversee their construction projects.

Their civil team has undergone continued growth in the last few years and is now, due to successfully winning major local projects, seeking an experienced project manager.

Ideally the client is looking for a civil or mechanical engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience. This role is a hands on construction role with a small focus on tendering and pricing. Experience in water related projects, earthworks or major infrastructure is essential.

The role will involve making sure the annual delivery works of $20m over 3 or 4 major projects are completed on time and in budget, you may be allocated to one project or work over a number of these. You will have a strong focus on client management dealing with local water authorities. Your team and reportees will include 1 or 2 project engineers and several site engineers. The role will also require excellent interpersonal skills, as the role will heavily involve client interface both with the client and other contractors.
