Inside Salespeople are the first line in the delivery of an exceptional customer experience. The care, attention to detail, and the knowledge they offer help homeowners and contractors get their building project delivered on-time and on-budget. This focus on the customer has been instrumental to our growth.
Responsibilities:
§ Service customers via in-person, phone, email, fax, or outside-sales force.
§ Consult with customers in showroom to suggest products and services which meet their needs and to advance a sale.
§ Maximize sales and gross profit by suggesting value added services and add on sales.
§ Develop and maintain rapport and familiarity with customers in order to provide high levels of customized service.
§ Prepare orders, quotations, estimates and invoices utilizing point of sale and other specialized software.
§ Communicate and collaborate effectively with vendors or other departments within the company to provide efficient service to customers.
§ Resolve customer concerns and disputes quickly and to the best of ability to maximize customer satisfaction.
§ Provide timely follow up to all commitments made.
§ Continuously update product knowledge and selling skills by company or vendor provided training and by voluntary efforts.
§ Assist in merchandising or reset of store as directed by management.

§ Knowledge of Construction practices and products especially millwork and building materials
Experience:
§ Two years in retail lumber, building materials, and millwork sales or customer service.
§ Home construction and remodeling knowledge or experience preferred.
