Help desk / desktop support technician Job in Sacramento 95826, California US

We are looking to hire a Help Desk / Desktop Support Technician for a 3 – 6 month contract located in Sacramento, CA 

 

Responsibilities include help desk and desktop support including

 

·               Perform as a member of the client’s team

·               Problem resolution.

·               Troubleshooting and diagnosis of hardware/software issues

·               Software installation and updates

·               PC builds

·               Hardware configuration and component replacement

·               Use of imaging software

·               Ability to visit remote locations to support the client’s mobile workforce as needed

 

Requirements (all are mandatory)

 

·               Possession of a valid CA driver’s license and auto insurance coverage.

·               Excellent customer relations skills / customer service oriented

·               High level of familiarity with Windows XP, Windows , MS Office 2007, and CMMS

·               Ability to work both under direct supervision and independently with user and technical personnel in order to troubleshoot and resolve support issues.

·               Ability to follow procedures, document work, complete required paperwork and keep supervisor informed of work progress at all times.

·               Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5 pm

·               Must be able to pass a full security background check and DMV report
