Help Desk Job in Downtown 10004, New York US
Japanese logistic firm is looking for an experienced help desk.
This position is responsible for investigating and resolving computer software and hardware problems for users and managing overall operations of the IT department.
Tasks include:
* Helpdesk/ Support for logistics operation
* Project Management
* Consulting
Job Requirements:
Extensive knowledge of Windows OS and environment.
Experience in Server 2003/2008 R2
Experience with Active Directory
Must have strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
Requires ability to express technically intensive concepts to lay users (verbally and/or in writing) effectively in one-on-one as well as group settings.
Language skills: English and Japanese is plus, but not required
Desirable background:
Professional experience in the logistics industry (Freight Forwarder, NVOCC).
Experience of Cargowise system
Experience of AS400
