Help Desk- System Support Administration- Major UK Account
Advantage is currently resourcing a 6 Month Contract position with a leading ICT Outsourcer, working with a Major Telecoms Customer Account. This is located just North of Bristol working within a Software Request Team providing a single point of contact for the deployment of all software related requests to 1000's of users.
Role Description
- Provide first line support for all clients, between 08:00 and 16:30 Monday to Friday and extensions to that service as and when required by the business.
- Take full ownership and responsibility for the delivery of all Software requests.
- Create, modify and remove login applications on receipt of Software Requests /Spreadsheet requests in a professional, efficient manner using the Software related application tools.
- Provide support to request clients in their Business Applications, creating/modifying logins and ensuring license availability within agreed time scales.
- Ensure that all Software request clients are contacted with processed application/login details.
- Work closely with technical support teams to ensure that the Request Team is able to resolve any problems, known errors and changes that may impact on service delivery
- Build strong relationships with key interfaces such as Asset Management, Office Automation and 3rd party vendors and the Service Desk.
- Ensure the Leavers Database is maintained and deletions are completed within agreed time-scales.
- Ensure that all documentation and procedures are kept to the required standard and up to date.
- Ensure an awareness of the Escalation Procedures, Service Level Agreements, Security Policies and Operational Level Agreements.
- Provide cover for Service Desk call handling when required. Ensuring awareness through cross training of the processes involved. This may require an extension and change of shift.
