Helpdesk Assistant

Helpdesk Assistant required immediately for approx. 9 months for property maintenance contractor in Greater Belfast. £7.28+ per hour

The Client:
Hays are currently representing a local leading maintenance contractor based in the Greater Belfast area.

The Role:
This is an immediate requirement anticipated to last for 9 months.
As the Helpdesk Assistant, you will be required to take incoming calls and emails from the client regarding plumbing, heating and electrical services and maintenance faults, prioritise work requests and assist in the resolution by delegating to maintenance engineers. With a focus on excellent customer service, you will update the client on progress of jobs and issue/file all requests accordingly.
Covering a client base that extends across the Northern Ireland primarily within a public sector client base.

The Person:
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have experience in a similar role and have strong organisational and administration skills. An excellent customer focus and telephone technique is essential, as is reliability and a professional attitude. Experience of the property maintenance industry would be beneficial but not essential.
IT skills are essential, and whilst it is a given that you will have some Word/Excel skills, training on the in-house computer system will be provided.

The Opportunity:
This is an immediate vacancy.
37.5 hours Mon – Fri 08:00 – 16:00 with a half hour lunch break.
You will work in client offices within a good team environment. The office is in a convenient location near a main arterial route into Belfast.
£7.28 per hour including holidays + depending on experience.
