Helpdesk Associate
Our client is currently seeking a Helpdesk Associate with an Active Secret Clearance to be located in Orsquo;Fallon, Illinois. The Helpdesk Associate will be part of a team that provides Levels 1 and 2 end user support for approximately 2500 customers and a larger number of external web application users. Specific duties include: Design, Author, and Implement Geospatial and Mapping web sites, and applications. Provide direct GIS support for both internal and external customers. Continued Certification and Training in all areas of GIS and Geospatial Sciences/Technologies. Troubleshooting Web Services in GIS. Administration and Security implementation GIS Services. ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must have an active SECRET clearance. Must be A+ or Security+ certified. Proficient in the use of the Geo-Database (Oracle, Informix, DB2). Must be thoroughly familiar with ESRI ArcGIS, ESRI SDE, ArcMap, ArcInfo, and ESRI ArcSERVER. Knowledge of HTML, Javascript, and Python. Customer focused business solutions for Logistics, Emergency Response, Facility Management, and Mapping. Knowledge of Javascript, Adobe FLEX, and Silverlight APIrsquo;s. Ability to understand Client needs and Design GIS SERVER solutions to meet those needs. Will have a Bachelor degree and 2+ years relevant experience (or commensurate background and experience). COMPETENCIES: 1. Proficient in Cartography and Geographic Query/use and Mapping 2. Proficient using Image Analysis, 3D, Network Analyst, and Interoperability Extensions 3. Proficient using Microsoft Office products and Adobe Acrobat 4. Proficiency administering ArcSERVER setups, implementation, and production. 5. Proficiency with - Design and Planning of Multi-Scale projects using Mapping, Database, and Customer interaction for Enterprise Solutions using SOA.
