About the Job

Providing assistance to the Installation Team with the delivery of School network installations

  • Experience of resolving support calls on site, over the telephone and using remote services
  • Knowledge of Windows 2003/Windows 2008 Server Solutions
  • Knowledge of Windows 7 and XP Pro workstations
  • Backup solutions ie. Symantec Backup Exec
  • Fault Finding of Interactive whiteboard solutions ie. SMART/Promethean
  • Anti Virus Software ie. Sophos
  • Knowledge of fault finding active hardware such as network switches
  • Knowledge of fault finding wireless solutions
  • Experience of working within an educational environment
  • Basic knowledge of VMware vSphere and Citrix XenApp and Citrix XenDesktop a distinct advantage
