Are you the type of person who fixes your friends families computers?

This Government Department is looking for a Helpdesk Support consultant with excellent customer service skills to work in a project team. This role initially is an 8 month contract with opportunities for possible extension.

Your role will be providing level 1 support over the phone and by email; basic knowledge of IT would be beneficial but not essential as most importantly a strong customer service background passion to learn and develop in IT would be held in high regard.

Essential Skills

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Understanding on basic IT terminology.

  • Troubleshooting skills would be of advantage.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

If you love communicating over the phone, have strong customer service skills and have a desire to move into IT or studied IT then this could be the job for you.
