Technical Support of PC Platforms (via Helpdesk Phone)
Windows XP/Windows 7, PC Hardware, MS Office Products (2003 or Later)
Lotus Notes (Preferable)
The company is looking for a Helpdesk Technician who will interact with internal business customers to provide system and application support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install and configure Windows Operating Systems.
- Troubleshoot computer and basic networking issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues.
- Research questions using available information resources.
- Keep up-to-date on hardware inventory.
- Document processes and projects.
This is an estimated 6 month Contingent/Temporary position located in Federal Way, WA and offered through Volt Technical Resources which is located in Redmond, WA. Requirements:
Helpdesk Technician (Entry to Mid-Level Experience) Required Qualifications:
- Helpdesk experience.
- Solid technical experience with supporting PC platforms - specifically via phone.
- A good working knowledge of Windows XP/Windows 7.
- A good working knowledge of PC hardware.
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (version 2003 and later).
- Experience with supporting Lotus Notes highly preferable.
Soft Skills:
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Positive disposition and attitude.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask.
