HF EM eFX MM – Bulge Bracket bank – Head of EM eFX desk recruitment
My client is seeking a head of desk to focus on emerging markets eFX market making.
The successful candidate for each will be responsible for PnL with a focus on Emerging Markets FX in particular. You will develop implement higher frequency trading strategies based on your experience and will have access to a team of programmers and researchers to allow you backtest new strategies, auto-hedging etc. You may look at Spot Trading, Futures and may have the opportunity to extend to other futures asset classes. You may look at some Prop in addition to Market Making strategies.
Applicants are expected to have a demonstrable track record trading FX - spot, futures, forwards - not necessarily Emerging Markets. You will have worked in either Investment Banking Electronic Trading or hedge fund / Prop Trading and will have run and implemented trading strategies / algos which have made money.
The expansion in the EM market is due to the firm’s eFX platform, execution, clients, sales, technology etc has been extremely successful and this new venture is seen as an excellent opportunity for an experienced trader to generate large PnL.
Expected earnings - £150 - £250k basic salary - £500,000 - £1,000,000 TComp
