HFT Engineer – Electronic Trading recruitment
A top tier firm is looking for a Senior C/C++ Developer. In this role you will work independently within a small team environment to design and develop and take ownership of trading software to maintain its leadership in the marketplace.
You will be working alongside other developers, Quants and traders to learn the current electronic trading system and participate in building new frequency/low latency components which must achieve maximum scalability. You will be using technologies such as: C/C++, TCP, multi-core, optimization, Linux.
Essential Desirable Skills
- The team is looking for strong computer science fundamentals and a track record of delivery, whether in previous professional roles
- Requires very strong development skills across Unix or Linux platforms. (Windows a plus)
- Extensive, C/C++ multi-threaded development skills
- Python is a plus, but not essential.
- Experience with network programming in a high volume environment.
- Experience with Fixed Income, especially with Options is a plus
- Candidates without financial will certainly be considered
