HGV Mechanic/Technician, Leicester, to £15.50 ph Job in Leicester LE15AW, Midlands UK
We are urgently recruiting for 2 experienced HGV Mechanics to work at one of our client's workshops.
You will be working in a busy workshop, looking after a large fleet of vehicles ranging from light commercial vehicles through to Class 1 and 2 HGVs. Your day-to-day duties will include: servicing, repair, fault-finding and diagnostics.
Hours of work are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Rotating day shifts (6am to 2pm and 10am to 6pm). This is a temporary ongoing position, which may lead to permanent employment for the right candidate.

It is essential that you hold one of the following qualifications or equivalent: City and Guilds level 2 or above or NVQ level 3 in the service and repair of motor vehicles.
You should be well-practised in carrying out MOT preps. for class 4 and 7 vehicles.
You must have strong commercial experience working with HGVs and a wide range of makes and models of vans, and a category CE (Class 1) licence would be a major advantage.
