High Frequency Trading Developer – C++ – Extremely Business facing / Desk based Role – up to 120k t.comp recruitment
Extremely business focussed development role in which a senior C++ Application Developer will work in close conjunction with quantitative traders to deliver high-frequency trading and market-making applications to multiple business franchises. (FX)
The successful candidate will be a highly experienced and gifted C++ UNIX developer who can leverage reusable frameworks, shared services and open-source libraries to meet the requirements of several high-demanding business teams.
This is a senior position and therefore applicants must have minimum 5 years experience working in front-office, business aligned roles and must be commercially aware and able to interact with the business users extensively and efficiently.
Technical skills are extremely important. Experience with the full SDLC (ideally within a High-Frequency environment) is a must-have.
Technical Skills Summary:
• Low-level C/C++ - must be able to write high quality, highly efficient code.
• Unix/Linux – must have in-depth understanding of operating systems and IP networking.
• Highly Robust, latent-critical, multithreaded systems development experience

Candidate must have excellent communication skills and a high quality degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a top university.
